These days, many public institutions have started taking care of people with disabilities. This time we worked at the bus station in Riga. A tactile map showing the layout of the premises. It shows ticket booths, guide lines and access to platforms. The usual text is duplicated in Braille. And to make it easy to use for the visually impaired, we used bright, contrasting colours. In addition, a visually impaired person can use the assistant’s call button, which is located right there on the stand. We hope that travelling will become easier with our help!
